The Arizona Business Committee for the Arts (AZBCA) establishes high-impact partnerships between businesses and our creative communities. AZBCA provides meaningful engagement opportunities with the arts to inspire employees, stimulate innovation, create stronger economic impact and foster creativity. When a business partners with the arts, they strengthen the entire community.
The AZBCA strengthens our creative sector, including arts, culture and for-profit creative businesses, by engaging the private sector, providing integrated arts and business programming, and serving as a thought leader and a convener.
Our work ranges in impact, and diversity. We collaborate with a diverse cross-section of our private sector and non-profit community organization, to implement innovative arts based programs and events.
AZBCA was founded after identifying a critical need for stronger affiliations between the business sector and our growing creative industries. We believe that initiatives that encourage partnerships between the arts and the private sector strengthen the vitality of our communities.
Our vision is to inspire Arizona’s business community to partner with the arts to ensure innovation, opportunity, and development in our creative sectors. AZBCA’s mission is to develop innovative arts and business partnerships, which in turn build sustainable communities where people want to live, work, and grow.
The program is administered by Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance (SAACA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, advancement, and creation of the arts. AZBCA is a program partner with Americans for the Arts and the National Partnership Movement, which David Rockefeller founded in 1967.
